Thank you for joining us at the 2009 Race Against Cancer and showing your support for cancer survivors and those who are battling cancer!

Proceeds from Race Against Cancer will go towards funding the various programmes by the Society. These include cancer treatment subsidy, hospice home care, welfare assistance for needy cancer patients, free cancer screenings, public education initiatives and helping children whose lives have been affected by cancer.

 

A staunch supporter and fundraiser for the cancer cause, Dr William Tan supported the SCS in its fight against cancer. Read his story	Ms Koh Chieng Mun, well-known TV personality popularly known as Dolly on English sitcom "Under One Roof", was stunned to discover breast and kidney cancer at the same time.
